The king of the stud at Tersk is, of course, Mashuk. No photograph is able to convey his beauty and athletic ability. Beduins make legends about horses like this. Mashuk is the main representative of the Egyptian strain of Mansour at Tersk. He is the best son of the unparalleled Aswan out of Malutka, a daughter of the famours Salon. At two and three years old Mashuk raced succesfully: in his 13 races he was placed nine times.
